Hi Feng, thank you very much for all this content. I have been studying on your website trying to do the assignments you give your students. Pleaseeeeeee, I know you have already communicated that you don’t want to do FZD online because in person is better. But please, give us only two intense comprehensive courses you teach at FZD on “perspective and sketching”, I don’t care how much it cost just please only those two courses. I have been trying for hours to study and do the perspective assignments you give to your students. And I’m afraid my knowledge fall short, and I can’t seem to find anything that can help construct and sketch in perspective like you students do. Pleasssseeee thank you

in my opinion when you buy an expensive sketchbook you feel more anxios when you are drawing. Because you want it to be perfect and that causes anxiety at least for me. So I bough A4 papers and I made sketchbook from those papers in a stationary. Now its more easy to sketch.

Love this idea, It's so fun to go along with you on this lol! I was thinking that the crevices come out with this sort of fog thing, that behaves sort of like an argon gas or something that is denser than air, so it can only go up to a certain point, and all of the monsters can only breath this substance like air. so the higher towers are generally safer than the bottom ground. I could see some of the monsters being like wales or turtles that can hold their breath and stuff for a long time so that they can raid the villages or jump up to get air ships, so then they have some more stuff to worry about, but maybe the really bad monsters can't go up because they don't have that ability to hold their breath. It would be cool to do some gill like things on the monsters to show how they don't have the same sort of lungs as normal air breathers.

Oh so the 'not fully paying attention'? That's based on brain wave state. Brain waves are properly, peer reviewed science. Using electroencephalography we can see the electrical output of the brain. There's five distinct states: Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta. Gamma is observed in intense problem solving. Delta is on the other end when you're asleep. Theta is the 'flow state' of creativity and performance. Its really cool stuff to read up on. And its actually not as binary as the simple explanation because you'll observe a whole range of brain waves during a task and our brains will go in deep delta states while awake after a high frequency period when they recover. Its the moment after the 'aha' when you've solved the problem where you lean back in your chair and feel relaxed relief.

I’m coming up on 5 years working in Visual Effects and I’ve been prepping for the industry bounce back. I never thought about opening my own studio because I hate handling money and getting clients tho. Maybe I should look into hiring a manager / producer…. and finding some startup capital. I got into this industry because of the Design cinema (started watching in 2012ish) so now I’m definitely thinking of starting my own studio.

That demand chart shared at the beginning helps to understand trends as far as demand in the market. What do you think will happen in the consumer space over the next 5-10 years to drive demand for content so that the spectrum of opportunities meet expansion for both studios budget and it's technicians(designers/artist/directors)? @FZDSCHOOL #FZDSchool

Personal Notes -When thinking about design, also think about how much the design would cost to build -“Everything after a downfall goes up”, BE PREPARED -FZD studio does not go to artstation, and portfolio sites to hire people, unless they cannot find anyone else. -Personality actually matters when it comes to design, because there might be disagreements regarding the vibes/ themes between the art directors and his peepos - Not meeting deadlines is another factor, stop being too slow -Take responsibility, satisfy all the requirements. -More workloads more money, but more stress which might influence quality. -Balance budget and schedule, allocate money per day, per month this video is just so concise that i dont even need to take notes, the clarity is just crazy. Time to stop here i guess.
